Seven babies had birthdays this month, and their families welcomed them with thanksgiving and gratitude. Choosing LIFE over death can be scary sometimes. Many of the young women we meet are in hard situations, where there are a lot of unknowns and uncertainty. But when they make the decision to let their baby live, they often are so grateful and are filled with such joy! So we rejoice with these young ladies who courageously chose to face difficult situations and trust the Lord to help them in their time of need. Cities4Life chapters across the country were honored to walk beside these young ladies and help them through the difficulties they were facing. Each one of them not only got many of their practical needs met, but were showered with the love and compassion of Jesus.
From Cities4Life Lexington, “This little girl had an appointment to die at Lexington’s EMW clinic but praise God her mommy’s heart was softened by the words from simple Christian counselors who SPOKE truth to her that day and loved her AND her baby!” We are so grateful for this sweet little girl who is alive and loved today because of the ministry of Cities4Life Lexington.
These twins had a appointment at the abortion mill back in September. God softened this mother’s heart, and after seeing the signs, and the ultrasound which showed 2 tiny babies, and she walked away from that place. Sidewalk counselors have kept in touch her and with the help of other churches, Cities4Life Tampa Bay was able to bless this family with a baby shower. It has been a blessing to walk beside her as she trusted the Lord to care for her and her little ones. Praise the Lord for the faithful laborers in the Tampa Bay, Florida who stand for LIFE!
“This sweet little boy that was saved a couple months back was born today! Please keep him, his mom, and the rest of the family in your prayers.” This update was from our amazing Cities4Life Nashville team. We are so thankful for a group of dedicated and loving sidewalk counselors who have truly been the hands and feet of Jesus to this family!
This baby was born in Charlotte, and this update was shared by one of Cities4Life Charlotte sidewalk counselors Anna Misko, “Look who I got to meet today! This precious baby girl was born yesterday afternoon (a week earlier than expected!). What a rewarding experience! As I gazed into this tiny face and thought about how she almost wasn’t, I thanked God for allowing me to be a part of this life-saving ministry. God is so good!” Yes we thank God for using gentle Christians like Anna to reach out to mother’s in crisis, and show them God has a plan for them and their baby!
“Mama T had her baby boy yesterday! Rejoicing that this image bearer of God is safe and LOVED by both his parents. Thank you Anna (with Cities4Life Charlotte) for your faithful proclamations of truth at the abortion clinic. Thank you to the Monroe HELP Center for the free ultrasound you gave T on the very day of her appointment with death.” This update was received from Sheryl Chandler with Truth and Mercy Ministries, one of our amazing Life Network partners. We are so thankful for all those who partner with us in this ministry!
And from Cities4Life So Cal we received this update, “Our baby girl has been born, saved from abortion. As we prayed from the sidewalk on the day the mommy walked out from the abortion room, we pray a lifetime of Living before the Lord protected from the evil of the world.” We don’t always get to see the fruits of our labor, but it is so sweet when we get to gaze on the faces of these little ones spared from death, and get to see the joy on parents faces when they hold their little baby.
As you can see, all across the country God is doing amazing things through the ministry of Cities4Life! We are so thankful for all these little blessings and their families who allow us to be a part of their lives. Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen. -Ephesians 3:20-21″
