We Need Your Help To Promote The New Pro-Life Film, “Voiceless”!

voicelessCities4Life Team Members, Life Network partners and friends and supporters of this ministry, there is an exciting new opportunity for us to impact our country with the message of Life and the Gospel! There is a powerful new gospel-centered, pro-life film, Voiceless, that is slated to be in theatres next year. This film is all about bringing awareness to the abortion epidemic and calling the Church to action. Below is a synopsis of the storyline:

Jesse Dean is a recently discharged soldier who had a rough upbringing, but because of his wife, found God and now is totally devoted to his faith.

He and his wife move to Philadelphia so he can take a new job as an outreach minister at an old church whose membership has been declining. As everything is going well and as he starts connecting to the community, he discovers there’s an abortion clinic directly across the street from the church.

Now, this character, Jesse, considers abortion one of the greatest sins of our nation, but because of his own insecurities and fear of confrontation, most of which stem from his life as a soldier and from events that happened before he found God, his response is to shirk responsibility and get others to deal with this issue.

He goes to the pastor and to several others in the church and tries to get their help to no avail. He wonders why they aren’t doing anything about the clinic but sees nothing but apathy from those around him and eventually, in himself as well.

One day something tragic and personal happens to him while he’s going about his everyday routine, an incident that confirms something must be done about the clinic. Although realizing something must be done, he also realizes no one wants to take action in doing it.

He comes to the point where he begins to take action himself. He gets involved but the more involved he gets, the more resistance he gets from those in the church and the community. They don’t want him to be an “extremist” or their church to be associated with activism or crossing the line of church and state.

His wife, who thinks his actions will get him fired or land him in jail, also comes against him.

Finally, it comes down to him having to make a choice: is he going to take the easy way out and back off, which is what everyone wants him to do, or will he face a major confrontation which will require him to become a true soldier for God and put everything on the line…not just his job, but his freedom and marriage as well.

This film encourages people to stand up for what they know is right, particularly as it pertains to taking God’s truths into society to address social issues.

As you can tell, this movie lines up with everything we are doing through the ministry of Cities4Life as we are taking the Gospel to the mission field outside of abortion centers and exhorting the Church to come alongside us in this critical mission. This movie could have rippling effects as many will see the need for sidewalk counseling ministry and to speak up for the voiceless!

Voiceless the Movie will not make the impact it can without believers coming alongside the production team to let others know about the film. The production team is asking you to team with them by bringing awareness to the Voiceless movie – announcing it to your group or during your church service if you are a pastor or church leader. Or you can use your social media accounts or other spheres of influence to promote the film. The production team will even be happy to mail you a supply of Voiceless postcards to hand out that provide the movie website and social media address.

This film is not just about bringing awareness to the issue of abortion but about spreading God’s Word and the Gospel so let’s get behind it 100% and do what we can to make this film a success! You can also contact Lisa Metzger, our Outreach Coordinator, at LisaMetzger@Cities4Life.org in the event that you have questions or ideas. Be praying for this project and production team even now, that God will get the glory out this film and that many would be called to action to stand up for the voiceless!!!
